This picture didn't come out as well as I wanted, but I only had my phone to capture this shot.  I took this photo this morning at the unfortunate hour of 5 am on my way to the gym.  The moon was so big and had a few spotty clouds.  It looked so cool that I had to get the picture.  I wish I had a better camera to really capture the beauty of this, but oh well!  Enjoy!

These old phones are some of the decorations in the pub I was at last night.  They help make the pub seem even more welcoming, laid back, and inviting.  I love when establishments use out of the ordinary decorations like this.

This is the new expansion bridge that connects Oak Cliff to Downtown Dallas.  The architectural design of this bridge is pretty cool and we happened to be getting ready to cross it right as the sun went down.  It was absolutely beautiful tonight.

This beautiful heirloom tomato was part of my lunch today.  I found this yesterday and I was ecstatic to find such a perfect tomato during the winter.  This tomato was so sweet and juicy!  It was just perfect!  It almost made me forget that it is still winter.

This is the snow globe my Godfather gave me when I was a child.  I was a ballet dancer for years and my favorite ballet to this very day is Swan Lake.  This snow globe plays the "Swan Theme" from the ballet and it is just beautiful. I played it at night and it would put me to sleep when I was young. It is such a wonderful, life-long gift.

Today was such a special day.  My nephew and Godson Axel Fynn was baptized and I was able to spend the day with my whole family.  The picture on the right is of the snow globe I gave him as a present.  My Godfather gave me the most beautiful snow globe when I was a child and I wanted to keep that tradition going.  I felt so blessed to be a part of this special day.

I went to Disneyland today and it was spectacular! I went with my family, so it was just 6 adults.  I think we all need to have one of those days when you let your worries go and just be a kid again.  It was so beautiful to relive a time I experienced as a child 23  years ago with my loved ones.  The quote in the last picture sums up how I felt today.

Today I had the privilege of seeing the space shuttle Endeavor. It is so amazing to think of his magnificent shuttle being in space and having some of the greatest science minds in the world aboard it. Such a cool experience.

I'm sure that everyone is tired of these lily photos, but I have been swamped this week and well, I love them!  This is the last living flower of my bouquet and I love how you can see the honeydew on the flower.  It makes it seem so tropical and alive.  I was so sad to have to throw the flowers out today, but they provided so much beauty to my days.

These are bushes outside of my condo.  I love them because they look like blueberries and because they hold up in the winter months.  They add a little color and a touch of spring.  So pretty and vibrant.

These photos are beautiful to me for two reasons.  First, I absolutely love that it is the middle of winter and there are flowers in full bloom.  It makes the cooler temps a less miserable.  The second reason I love them is because the flowers are pansies.  The pansy is the flower of my sorority in college and it is a reminder of the wonderful, lifelong friends I made there.  This flower is a symbol of beautiful the people in my life.

We had the most amazing sunset the other night.  I took each photo a few minutes apart from each other and it's just amazing how the colors change so much so quickly.  It was just beautiful to watch.

I had to take advantage of my beautiful flowers one last time.  I have had them for 2 weeks and I don't know how much longer they will be with me. Everyday for the past 2 weeks that I walked into my office, the smell and the beautiful sight made me think about the wonderful man that got them for me and I think about how lucky I am.

My neighbor always plants the most beautiful red roses every year.  I happened to notice that the thorns are starting to come in and the beautiful rich red hue is starting filling in.  I cannot wait for them to fully bloom and I can see the beautiful red petals against the black fence.  They are stunning every year.

I absolutely love these trees.  I love how they are growing into a canopy for the street and when they are full of leaves again, it will almost be like a natural tunnel!  It is just absolutely beautiful and such a cool view.

I am not a fan of flying, in fact I need to be sedated to do so, but when I do fly, I always feel lucky when I have an evening flight so I can see the sun go down while I'm up in the sky.  The folks on this flight are most likely getting one magnificent view of the sunset while they are jetting off to another location.

This photo is of the beautiful evil eye bracelet my sister gave me for my 30th birthday.  The evil eye is a prevalent symbol throughout a plethora of different cultures and there is such a history to this beautiful symbol.  I wear this bracelet everyday and it makes me think of the rich history surrounding the symbol as well as my beautiful sister that gifted it to me.  I absolutely love it!

Today was day 2 of being sick and this picture of my bowl of ice cream was the highlight of my day.   I don't really enjoy ice cream and never eat it unless I'm sick, but this mixture of red velvet cake, chocolate, vanilla, and banana pudding really hit the spot.  It made my day suck a little less.
