This is how I spent the majority of my night and it was great.  We went to the Nasher Sculpture Center downtown last night and they played The Three Amigos outside in the park.  It was such a beautiful night again last night and it was so nice to enjoy the weather and watch a classic movie.

It has cooled down quite a bit since it has been so stormy this week, so Pat and I had a late sushi dinner last night and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the incredible weather!  It doesn't get much better that sushi, wine, good weather, and your love.  :)

It stopped storming just in time for sunset tonight and I was able to see a pinch of the pink and orange hues through the clouds.  It was so pretty and so peaceful after the storm.

This was my yummy, beautiful lunch today.  It was another hot day and I just wanted something refreshing and summery.  I had a salad with quinoa, wheat berries, butternut squash, raisins, cranberries, almonds, spinach, and arugula.  I paired it with some fresh mango, papaya, and pineapple.  It was just heavenly!

I went to a garage sale and found Perry Como's Christmas hits on vinyl. This is going to be so fun to play at the holidays!  I can already imagine sitting around the living room with my family listening to great Christmas tunes on the record player.

This was my lunch on Friday and I'm pretty sure this is the only thing that got me through the day until I could get to my margarita!  I had some of my chilled strawberry-almond soup left over, so I brought that and paired it with some sliced mango and avocado.  I dipped the mango into the soup like it was bread.  It was so refreshing and absolutely delightful!

I am an animal lover, but I have never been too fond of birds. I am intrigued by crows though.  Blame it on the movies, books, poems, but I think they are creepy in a good way and they remind me of all things scary. Crows can stay.  :)

This is my chilled strawberry almond soup and oh my goodness it is heavenly!  Not only is the pale pink color beautiful, it was just so refreshing, especially on such a hot day!

This is some of the decor of a fantastic craft beer bar in Dallas.  I absolutely love it!  I love the wagon wheel for the lights and the old beer kegs for the stools.  I think decorations like this give a place so much more character.  Such a fun place!

I am not a fan of flying, but you can't help but appreciate the view when it looks like this.  The sky is absolutely beautiful and you can see a hint of city lights below.  It almost makes you forget that you are on a horrifying plane....
